The Sutter Huskies softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Carson Senators to 3 in the Huskies non-league win on Saturday.

The Huskies now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Natomas for a Golden Empire League battle on Tuesday, March 11. Sutter will confront a Nighthawks team coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to Johnson (Sacramento, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Carson moves to 2-3 on the season. The Senators host Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV) to confront the Mustangs in a 5A North battle on Tuesday, March 11. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Damonte Ranch lost 9-5 in their recent non-league battle against McQueen (Reno, NV)
