Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL), 10-6 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Lawrence County improves its record to 14-4 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Curry (Jasper, AL) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Monday, March 10. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a record of 15-1. Curry won 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Spain Park (Hoover, AL)

The Patriots now hold a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Holtville for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 11. Pike Road will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-5 non-league win over LAMP (Montgomery, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-5.
