In Saturday's non-league match, the host Mart Panthers softball team scored a tight 7-2 win over the Slocum Mustangs.

The Panthers (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Joaquin (Joaquin, TX). The Rams come into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Joaquin nipped Chireno (Chireno, TX), 8-1, in a non-league match.
