The Chambers Cougars baseball team (Charlotte, NC), was tipped 4-3 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC)

The Golden Lions now hold a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland Tech for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A outing on Friday, March 10. Shelby will confront a Rams team coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-2.
