Georgia High School Soccer - Hillgrove knocks off Auburn
March 9, 2023: Powder Springs, GA 30127 Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Auburn Tigers (Auburn, AL), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks confront the Harrison Hoyas (Kennesaw, GA) in a 7A Area 3 challenge, on Tuesday, March 14. Hillgrove will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Hoyas enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 1-0 league win over Marietta (Marietta, GA).
The Tigers now possess a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Pius X Catholic for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 11. Auburn will confront a Golden Lions team coming off a 3-1 league win over North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA). The Golden Lions record now stands at 5-2.
