March 9, 2023: Hiram, GA 30141 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Hiram Hornets (Hiram, GA) and the visiting New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA), saw Hiram's soccer squad triumph over New Manchester by a count of 7-1.
The Hornets now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they host South Cobb for a non-league test on Friday, March 10. Hiram will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Lakeside (Atlanta, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, New Manchester drops to 0-10 on the season. The Jaguar travel to Alexander (Douglasville, GA) to meet the Cougars in a 6A Area 5 test on Tuesday, March 14. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 4-4. Alexander lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA)
