The Robbinsville Black Knights routed the host Cherryville Ironmen softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Black Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Enka (Enka, NC). The Jets go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
