March 9, 2024: Windthorst, TX 76389 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Breckenridge Buckaroos (Breckenridge, TX) and the host Windthorst Trojans (Windthorst, TX), saw Breckenridge's baseball squad knock off Windthorst by a count of 11-5.
Coming up next, the Buckaroos play the Comanche Indians (Comanche, TX) in a 3A Region I District 8 battle, on Tuesday, March 12. Breckenridge will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 14-2 non-league loss to Hawley (Hawley, TX).
The Trojans now possess a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Muenster for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 14. Windthorst will play a Hornets squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Quitman (Quitman, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 3-10.
