March 9, 2024: Cameron, TX 76520 C.H. Yoe Yoemen (Cameron, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX), 4-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, C.H. Yoe upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Yoemen travel to Troy (Troy, TX) to battle the Trojans in a 3A Region III District 19 test on Tuesday, March 12. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 12-2. Troy won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Robinson (Robinson, TX)
With the defeat, Palestine falls to 6-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Gatesville (Gatesville, TX) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 12. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 12-6. Gatesville won 8-3 in their recent non-league game against Lorena (Lorena, TX)
