March 9, 2024: Childress, TX 79201 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Graham Steers (Graham, TX) and the host Childress Bobcats (Childress, TX), saw Graham's baseball squad knock off Childress by a count of 11-2.
Coming up next, the Steers play the Glen Rose Tigers (Glen Rose, TX) in a 4A Region I District 6 battle, on Thursday, March 14. Graham will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 11-8 record after their 1-0 league loss to Mineral Wells (Mineral Wells, TX).
The Bobcats now possess a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Idalou for a 3A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, March 12. Childress will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Crane (Crane, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-6.
