March 9, 2024: Santa Clara, CA 95051 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) and the host Wilcox Chargers (Santa Clara, CA), saw Mountain View's volleyball squad beat Wilcox by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Mountain View upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Spartans host Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA) to play the Matadors in a bout on Monday, March 11. The Matadors go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Monta Vista lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Lynbrook (San Jose, CA)
The Chargers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Gunn for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 9. Wilcox will play a Titans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over University Prep Academy (San Jose, CA). The Titans record now stands at 3-0.
