March 9, 2024: Lynwood, CA 90262 The Lakewood Lancers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Firebaugh Falcons to 0 in the Lancers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lancers now possess a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Damien for a Baseline game on Saturday, March 9. Lakewood will meet a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-7.
The Falcons (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV). The Miners enter the non-league game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Sunrise Mountain was dropped by Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV), 3-1, in a non-league game.
