The Lancers now have a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Damien for a Baseline game on Saturday, March 9. Lakewood will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-7.
The Spartans (1-9) will now prepare for their game against San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA). The Matadors enter the Almont game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, San Gabriel gained a win over La Mirada (La Mirada, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
