March 9, 2024: Las Vegas, NV 89142 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Sunrise Mountain Miners (Las Vegas, NV), by a margin of 2-0.
Coming up next, the Toreadors play the Bellflower Buccaneers (Bellflower, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 9. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA).
The Miners now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Del Lago Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 9. Sunrise Mountain will play a Firebirds squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Orange Glen (Escondido, CA). The Firebirds record now stands at 1-8.
