Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM), 11-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Santa Fe Indian for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9. Rio Rancho will face a Braves squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Braves record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Farmington falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Scorpions host Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15.
