March 9, 2024: Lakewood, CA 90713 Woodbridge Warriors (Irvine, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Katella for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9. Woodbridge will battle a Knights squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Santiago (Garden Grove, CA). The Knights record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Mayfair falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Monsoons host Santiago (Garden Grove, CA) to battle the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 12. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Santiago won 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA)
