The Cortez Colts baseball squad (Phoenix, AZ), was overwhelmed 19-2 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Combs Coyotes (San Tan Valley, AZ)

With the triumph, Combs moves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Coyotes host St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Knights in a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 18. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 5-2. St. Mary's lost 9-2 in their recent non-league battle against Yuma (Yuma, AZ)

Next, the Colts face the Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 11. Cortez will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Cobras enter the battle with a 6-2 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Greenway (Phoenix, AZ).
