California High School Baseball - Santa Fe held off by Segerstrom
March 9, 2026: Santa Ana, CA 92704 Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 9-7 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Segerstrom advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Jaguars host Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA) to battle the Wolves in a non-league match on Monday, March 16. The Wolves come into the match with a record of 4-2.
The Chiefs now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bonita for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 11. Santa Fe will play a Bearcats team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Santiago (Corona, CA). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-1.
