The Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, TX) softball routed the host Gainesville Leopards (Gainesville, TX), 24-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Bison now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mexia for a 3A Region III District 20 outing on Tuesday, March 10. Buffalo will clash with a Black Cats squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Fairfield (Fairfield, TX). The Black Cats record now stands at 1-7.

The Leopards (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Richland (Prosper, TX). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Richland prevailed over New Diana (Diana, TX), 5-0, in a non-league test.
