The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) and the visiting Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC), observed Wheatmore's softball team get by Eastern Randolph by a tally of 7-6.

The Warriors (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Alamance (Graham, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Southern Alamance nudged Williams (Burlington, NC), 20-0, in a league contest.

The Wildcats now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Northwood for a Four Rivers 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, March 10. Eastern Randolph will face a Chargers squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Carrboro (Carrboro, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 3-0.
