Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Ponte Vedra Sharks (Ponte Vedra, FL), 11-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lowndes upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to St. Johns Country Day (Orange Park, FL) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, April 2. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 10-1.

With the defeat, Ponte Vedra falls to 6-7 on the season. The Sharks host Mandarin (Jacksonville, FL) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Monday, April 4.
