The Brighton Cardinals routed the host Northpoint Christian Trojans softball squad by a final score of 16-0 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Cardinals (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, St. Benedict at Auburndale was routed by Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS), 6-4, in a non-league battle.
