California High School Softball - Canyon holds off South
April 1, 2022: Anaheim, CA 92807 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA) and the visiting South Spartans (Torrance, CA), witnessed Canyon's softball squad tip South by a count of 3-1.
The Comanches now sport a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Saint Francis for a non-league match on Saturday, April 2. Canyon will face a Lancers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 8-0.
With the loss, South moves to 16-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA) to face the Griffins in a non-league match on Friday, April 1. The Griffins go into the match with a record of 14-4. Los Alamitos won 10-4 in their recent non-league match against El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA)
