The Falls Lake Firebirds softball team scored 21 runs and limited the visiting Granville Central Panthers to 5 in the Firebirds non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Falls Lake moves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Firebirds travel to South Granville (Creedmoor, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league game on Monday, April 4. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 6-1. South Granville won 23-3 in their recent league game against Vance County (Henderson, NC)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC) in a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A game, on Tuesday, April 5.
