April 1, 2022: Collinsville, MS 39325 The Lake Hornets softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host West Lauderdale Knights to 1 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Lake moves its record to 15-5 on the year. The Hornets host Pisgah (Sandhill, MS) to clash with the Dragons in a 2A Region 6 game on Tuesday, April 5. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 13-5. Pisgah lost 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Mooreville (Mooreville, MS)
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 2. West Lauderdale will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 11-4 record after their 6-1 league win over Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS).
