April 1, 2022: Las Cruces, NM 88001 Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM), 20-4 in a non-league challenge.
The SonBlazers now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Non Varsity Tournament Opponent for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 1. Mesilla Valley Christian School will face a squad coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM). The record now stands at 8-21.
With the loss, Socorro falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Tohatchi (Tohatchi, NM) to face the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 2. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-5.
