Virginia High School Baseball - Cox loses to Benedictine
April 1, 2023: Virginia Beach, VA 23454 The Cox Falcons baseball team (Virginia Beach, VA), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA)
The Cadets now hold a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hanover for a non-league outing on Monday, April 3. Benedictine will face a Hawks team coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-0.
Next, the Falcons face the Landstown Eagles (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach outing, on Tuesday, April 4. Cox will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 4-2 record after their 5-1 league loss to Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA).
