California High School Baseball - Torrance gets by Los Alamitos
April 1, 2023: Torrance, CA 90501 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Torrance Tartars (Torrance, CA) and the visiting Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA), saw Torrance's baseball squad knock off Los Alamitos by a count of 4-1.
Coming up next, the Tartars play the North Saxons (Torrance, CA) in a Pioneer battle, on Wednesday, April 12. Torrance will attempt to move on its 14-2 season record.
The Griffins now possess a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Fountain Valley for a Sunset Surf contest on Tuesday, April 4. Los Alamitos will encounter a Barons squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA). The Barons record now stands at 7-8.
