The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Big Valley Christian Lions (Modesto, CA) and the host Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA), saw Big Valley Christian's volleyball squad nip Freedom by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Big Valley Christian upgrades its record to 9-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA) to play the Thundering Herd in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 1. The Thundering Herd go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Elk Grove lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Manteca (Manteca, CA)

The Falcons now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to Serra for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 1. Freedom will play a Padres squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA). The Padres record now stands at 8-16.
