Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), 8-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Carson upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Cougars host Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 4. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-8. Central Cabarrus lost 9-2 in their recent non-league test against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC)
