April 1, 2023: Morgan City, LA 70380 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA) softball team the visiting St. Mary's Academy Cougars (New Orleans, LA), by a margin of 4-2.
With the triumph, Central Catholic moves its record to 11-7 on the year. The Eagles host Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA) to play the Bears in a 1A District 4 contest on Tuesday, April 4. The Bears come into the contest with a record of 14-8.
In their next game, the Cougars play the Riverdale Rebels (Jefferson, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 3. St. Mary's Academy will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record.
