Valley Christian Lions (Roseville, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Grant Pacers (Sacramento, CA), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Valley Christian upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Lions host Sacramento Country Day (Sacramento, CA) to battle the Cavaliers in a Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League test on Tuesday, April 2. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 4-2.

With the defeat, Grant falls to 1-11 on the season. The Pacers travel to McClatchy (Sacramento, CA) to battle the Lions in a Metropolitan Conference test on Tuesday, April 2. The Lions come into the test with a record of 8-4. McClatchy lost 5-4 in their recent non-league battle against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA)
