Kentucky High School Softball - Ballard holds off Lancaster
April 1, 2024: Louisville, KY 40222 Ballard Bruins (Louisville, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Bruins now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Grant County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Ballard will battle a Braves squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Ryle (Union, KY). The Braves record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Lancaster falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Golden gales travel to Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY) to battle the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 7-4.
