April 1, 2024: Gibsland, LA 71028 Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs (Gibsland, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ringgold Redskins (Ringgold, LA), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Arcadia for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Gibsland-Coleman will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Saline (Saline, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, Ringgold falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Lakeview (Campti, LA) to battle the Gators in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 3. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 1-6. Lakeview lost 26-6 in their recent league challenge against Red River (Coushatta, LA)
