Georgia High School Baseball - Academy for Classical Education defeats Southwest
April 1, 2025: Macon, GA 31210 The Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) baseball trounced the visiting Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA), 7-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Gryphons now own a 16-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Veterans for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 3. Academy for Classical Education will clash with a Warhawks team coming off a 8-2 league win over Northside (Warner Robins, GA). The Warhawks record now stands at 9-11.
With the defeat, Southwest drops to 3-12 on the year. The Patriots travel to Washington County (Sandersville, GA) to clash with the Golden Hawks in a A D1 Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Golden Hawks go into the challenge with a record of 15-5.
