Louisiana High School Baseball - Destrehan defeats East St. John
April 1, 2025: Destrehan, LA 70047 The Destrehan Wildcats (Destrehan, LA) baseball trounced the visiting East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA), 9-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 16-10 record. They take the field next when they host Iowa for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 2. Destrehan will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 15-0 league win over LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 13-12.
With the defeat, East St. John drops to 6-16 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a 5A District 8 challenge on Thursday, April 3. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 14-13. Thibodaux lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Hahnville (Boutte, LA)
