West Virginia High School Baseball - Sherman nips Greater Beckley Christian
April 1, 2025: Seth, WV 25181 The Sherman Tide baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders to 5 in the Tide non-league win on Tuesday.
The Tide now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tug Valley for a Freelance test on Tuesday, April 1. Sherman will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Martin County (Inez, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 1-4.
With the defeat, Greater Beckley Christian drops to 2-3 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Webster County (Upper Glade, WV) to clash with the Highlanders in a Little Kanawha test on Monday, April 7. The Highlanders go into the test with a record of 1-3. Webster County lost 5-4 in their recent league test against Gilmer County (Glenville, WV)
