In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Taft Eagles baseball team scored a close 8-7 win over the Maine East Blue Demons.

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Niles Notre Dame (Niles, IL). The Dons go into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Niles Notre Dame was tipped by Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL), 14-4, in a non-league game.
