The York Dukes baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Standing Bear Grizzlies to 6 in the Dukes non-league win on Tuesday.

The Dukes now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Adams Central for a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. York will play a Patriots team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Holdrege (Holdrege, NE). The Patriots record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, Standing Bear drops to 1-7 on the year. The Grizzlies host Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Friday, April 4. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 3-1. Plattsmouth won 8-7 in their recent non-league test against Mount Michael Benedictine (Elkhorn, NE)
