Texas High School Volleyball - Marcus bounced by Red River
April 1, 2025: Gainesville, TX 76240 Red River Rattlers (Gainesville, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Red River improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Rattlers travel to Decatur (Decatur, TX) to meet the Eagles in a challenge on Friday, April 4. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Decatur lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX)
Next, the Marauders meet the Byron Nelson Bobcat (Trophy Club, TX) in a challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Marcus will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bobcat come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Steele Early College (Roanoke, TX).
