North Carolina High School Soccer - Ashley knocks off Hoggard
April 1, 2025: Wilmington, NC 28412 In Tuesday's league outing, the host Ashley Screaming Eagle soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Hoggard Vikings.
The Screaming Eagle (11-0) will now prepare for their outing against South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Cougars go into the Mideastern 3A/4A outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, South Brunswick got by North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 3-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Vikings confront the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A outing, on Thursday, April 3. Hoggard will attempt to improve on its 10-1 season record. The Pirates go into the outing with a 5-2 record after their 8-0 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC).
