Illinois High School Soccer - Limestone knocks off East Peoria
April 1, 2025: East Peoria, IL 61611 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Limestone Rockets (Bartonville, IL) and the host East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL), saw Limestone's soccer squad triumph over East Peoria by a count of 8-0.
The Rockets (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Railsplitters enter the non-league battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Lincoln was overwhelmed by Rochester (Rochester, IL), 8-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Raiders battle the Washington Panthers (Washington, IL) in a Mid-Illini battle, on Thursday, April 3. East Peoria will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 5-0 league win over Metamora (Metamora, IL).
