April 1, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27409 The Shining Light Academy Knights soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Woodlawn Trailblazers to 0 in the Knights non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Phoenix Academy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 8. Shining Light Academy will play a Firebirds squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Firebirds record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Woodlawn moves to 1-2 on the year. The Trailblazers travel to North Hills Christian (Salisbury, NC) to play the Eagles in a NCISAA - Southern Piedmont bout on Monday, April 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-5. North Hills Christian lost 4-2 in their recent non-league bout against Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC)
