Virginia High School Baseball - Rockbridge County loses to Riverheads
April 1, 2025: Staunton, VA 24401 The Riverheads Gladiators triumphed over the visiting Rockbridge County Wildcats baseball squad by a score of 13-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Gladiators battle the Stuarts Draft Cougars (Stuarts Draft, VA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, April 3. Riverheads will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Cougars come into the outing with a 5-2 record after their 16-2 non-league win over Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA).
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Dragons enter the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, William Monroe was overwhelmed by Orange County (Orange, VA), 5-3, in a non-league battle.
