The Marvin Ridge Mavericks edged the visiting Christ the King Crusaders lacrosse team by a tally of 16-15 in Tuesday's non-league match.

Next up, the Mavericks confront the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River match, on Thursday, April 3. Marvin Ridge will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Wolf Pack enter the match with a 4-3 record after their 12-11 league win over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC).

The Crusaders (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Spartans enter the Catawba Shores/Metro 8/South Piedmont match with a 10-4 record. In their last match, Community School of Davidson got by Myers Park (Charlotte, NC), 12-10, in a non-league match.
