April 1, 2025: Savannah, GA 31419 The Effingham County Rebels lacrosse team (Springfield, GA), was overwhelmed 16-2 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Savannah Country Day Hornets (Savannah, GA)
With the victory, Savannah Country Day advances its record to 7-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to South Effingham (Guyton, GA) to encounter the Mustangs in a 2A Area 4 battle on Thursday, April 3. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 1-10. South Effingham lost 14-0 in their recent league battle against Benedictine (Savannah, GA)
The Rebels now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Savannah Christian for a 2A Area 4 battle on Wednesday, April 9. Effingham County will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to Benedictine (Savannah, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-7.
