Florida High School Lacrosse - IMG Academy Black overwhelms Wheaton Academy
April 1, 2025: Bradenton, FL The IMG Academy Black Ascenders lacrosse squad scored 13 points and limited the visiting Wheaton Academy Warriors to 9 in the Ascenders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Ascenders now hold a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Springside Chestnut Hill Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 4. IMG Academy Black will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 13-7 non-league win over Episcopal (Alexandria, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Wheaton Academy falls to 3-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Newsome (Lithia, FL) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 2. The Wolves go into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Newsome won 18-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Sickles (Tampa, FL)
