Georgia High School Soccer - Fitzgerald knocks off Irwin County
April 1, 2025: Fitzgerald, GA 31750 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane soccer squad scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Irwin County Indians.
The Purple Hurricane (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA). The Packers go into the non-league outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, Colquitt County Camden County (Kingsland, GA), 1-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Indians play the Worth County Rams (Sylvester, GA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, April 3. Irwin County will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Rams go into the outing with a 3-13 record after their 10-0 league loss to Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA).
