Tennessee High School Soccer - Macon County knocks off Jackson County
April 1, 2025: Lafayette, TN 37083 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Macon County Tigers (Lafayette, TN) and the visiting Jackson County Blue Devils (Gainesboro, TN), saw Macon County's soccer squad triumph over Jackson County by a count of 9-0.
The Tigers (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Portland (Portland, TN). The Panthers enter the AA District 9 battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Portland was overwhelmed by Gallatin (Gallatin, TN), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Blue Devils battle the York Institute Dragons (Jamestown, TN) in a A District 5 battle, on Thursday, April 3. Jackson County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Dragons enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 6-2 league loss to Smith County (Carthage, TN).
