Louisiana High School Softball - Dutchtown bounces Maurepas
April 1, 2025: Geismar, LA 70734 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) and the visiting Maurepas Wolves (Maurepas, LA), observed Dutchtown's softball team prevail over Maurepas by a tally of 16-0.
The Griffins (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Yellowjackets come into the 5A District 5 outing with a 8-15 record. In their last outing, Denham Springs was routed by Live Oak (Watson, LA), 7-0, in a league outing.
With the loss, Maurepas moves to 4-14 on the season. The Wolves travel to Independence (Independence, LA) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 3. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 2-10. Independence lost 23-12 in their recent non-league outing against Varnado (Angie, LA)
